One of my photos was selected as a ‘Contender’ in the Landscape category of Rugby Journal Magazine Photographer of the Year 2026.

Taken during half time of a University of Stirling match on a particularly gloomy afternoon with the Wallace Monument appearing through the mist in the background.

I didn’t make the final shortlist, but it’s still pretty cool to see one of my photos selected amongst the contenders.

I think this was my second time shooting a rugby match so it’s cool to be recognised.
