Things seem to have slowed down on the Lake Zone and Concrete Slab at Universal United Kingdom Resort.

The closure of Manor Road was intended for "The utilisation of the dedicated plant crossing over Manor Road to enable the mass haulage of soil between the Lake and Core Zones" but we are yet to see it used and it remains incomplete.

Monday will be a month since the closure and 6 weeks until Manor Road reopens, as things stand this closure has been an insult to local residents and unnecessary. The watercourse works will force another closure of Manor Road.

Universal United Kingdom Resort, the Core Zone at Broadmead Road.

Archaeology works continue behind Broadmead Road, and it looks like the trees along the road may soon be felled for the electricity cable diversion. In the field, We see the first sign that the power line works may be about to begin as the cables have cones now marking safe passage.

Luton town centre is undergoing a huge transformation.

A few photos of some of the major developments taking shape, including the towering Flowers Way development; The Stage, with new homes, commercial units, a food court and a 600-seat performance venue; and the Access for All improvement works at Luton Station.

The town’s skyline is certainly beginning to look very different, and that doesn't include the developments at The Landsdowne Club, Power Court, the Icon Hotel or the huge buildings that have permission next to the gurdwara.

Universal United Kingdom Resort, the tree felling in the Core Zone looks nearly complete. This area is being felled to allow for diversion of the Core Zone Watercourse, when complete the diverted watercourse will have 1.75km of habitat around it.

There does seem to be something preventing the removal of the final trees in the main group that has been cleared.
