What an honour it was to photograph my childhood friend’s wedding. 🤍

When I said yes, I definitely didn’t imagine I’d be 34 weeks pregnant on the day… in the middle of yet another heatwave!

Despite the soaring temperatures, it was such a beautiful day, filled with so much love, laughter and the best vibes. It was a real joy to step away from the studio and flex my creative muscles in a completely different way.

I was also very grateful to have an extra pair of hands with me, so I could take a breather whenever I needed one.

Weddings are made up of so many beautiful little moments and meaningful details, and it was a privilege to capture them. Here’s just a small selection from such a special day.

Thank you all for your support and presence this year 🙏💕 as I prepare to welcome baby number two I’m reflecting on how grateful I am to have met so many new families and existing clients again. I absolutely love work and it hurts to stop shooting but my body is telling me to slow down now. Catch you in 2027! ###

The bond these two share is so special - it’s impossible not to smile watching them together 🥹 What a joy it was to capture it.

They were absolute angels, listened to every instruction, and we were all in and out of the studio in just 40 minutes!

I photographed big sister four years ago, and this time she came back with her little sister for another shoot. It’s such a privilege to watch families grow and be a small part of their story.

P.S. One of the things I’m most excited about having another boy is dressing them both in matching outfits!

Personal thoughts on being 35 weeks pregnant with a toddler: can’t believe how much he’s suddenly grown and how much things are about to change. Equally how caring he will be as a big brother and how cute it is when he asks if baby is here yet and says he’s getting his cars ready for baby. “Why is your belly so big?” is a favourite question.

I photographed the big 180-person wedding I’d been eagerly gearing up for at the weekend - what an incredible day but my feet and back were finito! Now it’s into marathon editing mode to get the photos edited before baby arrives. I have three studio shoots left now and potentially space for one more - and then it’s looking like maternity leave will be taking me for however long I feel necessary. Thanks for following! ###

Tiny hands, tiny feet - officially promoted to Mum and Dad!

Some days I find it wild to think I’m responsible for a tiny human (and another one growing in my belly), yet I still take 15 minutes to decide what meal to order when we go out to a restaurant. On the ultimate “figure it out as you go” adventure!

She turned two. They danced, we sang, we chased bubbles, and we threw toys in the air. There was a snack break (of course!), plenty of running circles around mummy, and endless moments of joy in between.

I was there for the ride, capturing it all as it unfolded. There were lots of beautiful candid moments, and it was mummy and daddy pretending to eat her feet that brought out the biggest smiles!

This gallery is filled with such a wonderful variety of images, and honestly, I have far too many favourites to share.

Photoshoots with two-year-olds aren’t always easy - they’re busy, curious, unpredictable little humans. But they are so worth it when you see those little glimmers of their personality shine through in the photos.

Family photos at this age are especially precious because two is such a fleeting season: full of wonder, mischief, independence, and cuddles. These are the moments you’ll want to remember long after they’ve outgrown those tiny feet and cheeky grins.

The days may be long, but this stage passes in the blink of an eye.

The newborn scrunch 🥰 This gorgeous boy visited me at just over three weeks new - it’s always such an honour to meet new parents and be one of the first in their bubble. On the few occasions he had a little cry, my baby in my tummy would kick - what an insane connection!

Delivery day selfie! The one that’s almost as big as me is a rectangular family portrait at 20x28 inches, with a glossy finish for a returning client. I can’t wait for them to see it. They measured their wall space and I designed a piece that would fit 👌

Lookbooks have arrived and all prints from the latest order are expected next week.

Please please don’t leave your photos stuck on your phone - display them and you’ll enjoy them 100x more 🥰
