I have always loved the strange calm that marinas have after hours.

Everything feels suspended for a moment. No movement. No noise. Just shapes, reflections, symmetry and deep green water stretching out beneath them.

Drone photography lets me see places almost like graphic design. Lines become patterns. Boats become brushstrokes.

Over the last few months, Studio DJC Creative has quietly grown into something I am genuinely proud of.

What started as a creative escape has evolved into portrait sessions, creative projects, commercial shoots, and cinematic storytelling inspired by atmosphere, emotion, and real moments.

As part of the launch period, I introduced discounted portrait sessions to help build the portfolio, meet new people, and continue growing creatively.

That launch offer officially ends at the end of May.

Hi, I am Dan — the person behind Studio DJC Creative.

Based in Southampton, I focus on portrait photography, creative storytelling, and capturing honest moments that feel real rather than overly staged.

Photography originally started as a creative escape for me — a way to slow down, explore, and notice the atmosphere in everyday moments. Over time, that passion grew into Studio DJC Creative.

My work leans towards natural, cinematic imagery with a strong focus on emotion, mood, and storytelling. Whether it is a portrait session, creative project, event, or commercial shoot, the aim is always the same: to create images that people genuinely feel connected to.

One of the nicest parts of building Studio DJC Creative has been hearing how people feel during and after a shoot.

Creating strong images matters to me, but so does creating an experience where people feel comfortable, relaxed, and genuinely themselves in front of the camera.
