Last day of today. Please pop in if you haven't already, it's been lovely to see and chat to so many people. I've been busy topping up some of my popular prints and cards. I'm also happy to take commissions and print to order. You can find me in Swanwick Lane, but I also have some originals and prints at the GAF in Bursledon and will be there from around 4.20 till 5 today.

I've been very quiet on here for a few months. The frustration of having my art making plans and my doing stuff outdoors plans scuppered by a broken wrist left me feeling pretty low. It still hurts, but I'm back and prepping for open studios and it's very hot, too hot and try to risk using the blow torch on my encaustic pieces!

A lot of firsts for me - first time i have had artwork in two shows at once and the first time I've had a cast and had to do everything one handed/left handed. I will be Marwell Wildlife Marwell Wildlife all day Saturday and Sunday at the exhibition in marwell house. Monday I will be The GAF Centre in Bursledon where a selection of my photography is part of their annual photography exhibition.

Get up early. Watch the sunrise. Absorb spring.
This is my favourite time of year - This is all those spring feelings layered in encaustic medium (bees wax and damar resin) it's about walking forward into the day, the summer, the future and embracing it with all the senses. It's the Jetty which reaches out into the in in Hampshire, U.K.
