Tonight we were hosted by the lovely lot at Emily's Bakehouse for their charity quiz night. The food was amazing and they were kind enough to cater for my veganism even though it was off menu.

We didn’t win but it was a bundle of laughs and we raised money for a wonderful cause Macmillan Cancer Support in honour of James’ mum, Kay’s grandma and all others who have lost loved ones to cancer 💚

If you get the chance to, definitely pop into Emily’s Bakehouse because they always do incredible food and they treat customers like family! A must visit in Sleaford 🥰

Final stop on my spooky season collection for 2023: ’s Pumpkin Trail! 🎃 We’ve done this trail every year since it began but it’s the first time Mum and I have done it as a girls day!

The weather stayed gorgeous for us, there were new stops along the trail and we even popped into my favourite hideaway cafe for some GORGEOUS vegan brunch🥰

Of course, we got to see ’s resident dragons: Lucy and Norman! 🐉 Also a 17th century Witch Bottle for catching witches. Luckily this one got away 😉✨

Another pumpkin patch at Bransby Horses ()! 🎃 This one looked a little different than most (probably due to the flooding) but it was lovely to be able to amble around the farm and visit with all the horses.

Our favourite had to be the pumpkin patch’s namesake, Pecan! He gets blown over if it’s too windy 😩🥰

We finished off the day with a trip to Daisy Made () for some ice cream🍦They had some spooky season flavours and some dairy free options for me! Had to say hi to my Pygmy goat girlies whilst I was there too 🐐

Finally got to channel my secret monster hunting skills for ’s Monster Invasion 🔍👾

We went for a cute family walk around Lincoln and admired the giant lit up monsters trying to take over the city! We had to come back another day for the final monster in the castle 🏰

Quick stop at my favourite chippy for some vegan treats (deep fried biscoff biscuits) on the way home 🙈

This half term was full of trails and here is another great one!

We went to Wyndham Park to check out their Halloween events at the visitor centre. We were pointed to this very cute Isaac Newton apple themed trail around the park and we got involved in some Halloween crafts in the visitor centre itself 🍎

Obviously I had to stop for a well-earned snack so I enjoyed a lovely loaded fries at the Tea Rooms. They were completely VEGAN! 🥰

Catching up on my half term trips round Lincolnshire. We ventured round Great Gonerby on the Sunshine Pre-School’s Autumn Trail 🍂🍁

The kiddos had great fun exploring the village and finding the different autumn themed images. We also got to see the wonderful sights round the village and soak in the history 🥰

Despite the floods, Bells Pumpkin Patch remained open (no swimsuits necessary 😂). Bells is our yearly haunt and no spooky season is the same without it 🎃

Jam packed fun with photo opportunities galore, face painting, sweet treats, and a fun fair. This year’s photo op was Barbie vs Wednesday and I do love any Barbie moments 💖

There’s more to do each year and I cannot wait to see what’s in store next year 🥰

My latest pumpkin patch find is Little Franks Pumpkin Patch🎃 It’s a lovely family owned patch with a friendly welcome and some gourd-geous pumpkins! I’m a picky pumpkin picker and we found the perfect ones 🥰 Kiddies could even win a treat by finding the hidden white pumpkins! 🤍

Hi, I’m Katy and I’m Lincolnshire born and bred. When I went to university down in Bournemouth, I was surprised by the amount of people that didn’t know where Lincolnshire is! I had grown up there my whole life in a little market town and people had no idea where the second largest county in England is 🤷🏻‍♀️

The aim of this account is to change that! I want to learn more about the county I live in and share what I learn with you. I hope explore this county from the Humber to the Wash 🗺🥾
