As many of you know, the last few months have been incredibly difficult for our family as we cared for my Dad John through his battle with lung and liver cancer.
Last Thursday, Dad passed away peacefully at home.
Photography was never just a job to Dad. It was his passion. Over the years, he had the privilege of photographing countless weddings, family celebrations, special occasions, milestones and not forgetting his beautiful wildlife photography. Through his camera lens, he captured moments that became treasured memories for so many people, and he was always deeply grateful for the trust people placed in him to be part of those important days.
Dad loved meeting people and hearing their stories. Whether he was photographing a wedding, a christening, a birthday celebration or simply creating family portraits, he genuinely cared about the people in front of his camera. Many clients became friends, and many of you continued to support him for years.
As a family, we want to thank everyone who has supported Dad and his work over the years. Every booking, recommendation, kind message and friendship meant a great deal to him.
While we begin to process the loss of an amazing Dad, Brother, Grandad, partner and friend, we are taking things one day at a time. Losing someone you love is never easy, and nothing truly prepares you for it.
Dad leaves behind not only thousands of photographs, but also a legacy of memories, laughter, love and special moments that will continue to be cherished by families for generations to come.
Thank you for your kindness, your support and for allowing Dad to be part of so many important moments in your lives.
With love,
Mimi and family
