A lovely long weekend off with family and friends at Povey Fest on the grounds of Povey Farm. We were treated to some amazing weather with stunning sunsets, incredible music, entertainment and food stalls including Moss Valley Fine Meats serving up some of their amazing produce. Whilst I took my camera I decided to leave it in the car but couldn't resist sending the drone up for the sunsets and views.
Thank you to everyone involved in organising it, It really is the perfect place for a festival and we're already looking forward to the next one xx

Well I had to have a go at taking some pictures of the Solar Eclipse as I remember it in 1999. I've seen a lot of comments expressing disappointment and whilst it wasn't as spectacular what I loved the most is seeing my daughter getting excited and being creative making things with her Granny so she could see it, that's priceless.
For the pictures I used a very old 150-500mm lens and changed it to cropped sensor mode which made it around 750mm. I used a strong tripod and put a 10 stop ND filter on and this was the result.

On Sunday I had the pleasure of photographing Amber, Josh and their gorgeous girl Indie at the Sunflower fields near Barlow Woodseats Hall and as you can see they absolutely rocked it.
If anyone is stuck for something to do I would definitely recommend a visit. Its only £3 for adults and even less for kids and you get to pick your own Sunflowers included in the price.
They also have Donkey's, Chickens and some very cute Goats.
To find it set you sat nav to Barlow Woodseats Hall and its just on the left before you get to the hall.

Cute Puppy alert.....
Yesterday I had the pleasure of photographing Mum and 8 gorgeous puppies before they leave for their forever homes. (there's still one gorgeous boy left if anyone is looking for one)
As the saying goes "it was like herding cats" but I do love a challenge and I'm really pleased with the results, plus I got to cuddle all the pups which I loved.

A couple of weeks ago I had the absolute pleasure of being a guest and also official photographer for Mel & Mark's wedding at Whitley Hall Hotel Sheffield and wow what an amazing day it was, a very hot and sunny day, full of love and laughter.

Annual Bluebell photo shoot for my dogs today in Ecclesall Woods. I reckon there's about a week left until they're gone so if you get the opportunity, I would definitely recommend a walk as the scenery is absolutely stunning.

I came across this view whilst travelling between houses and couldn't resist sending the drone up to capture the view.

Just for fun...
With what started with me washing the pots and looking at the sun setting through the window, I decided to dash out with my camera with the intension of taking pictures of the sunset. That plan didn't work so I put plan b into motion by testing my new on camera flash and focussed on the dogs.
