Persistent rain, together with lack of inspiration necessitated a dive into the archives. This one from the soft light and fresh greens of May '23, although I've desaturated the colours.

The image shows part of the old Holloway approaching the hill from the west. A hundred meters west of this the Holloway is more intact, but is also in waterlogged just now.

Insta/FB image compression will likely trash the detail in the shadows, but that's a fee they extract from us, I guess.

Early light on our heap of baskets. These things are like Tupperware boxes (other brands are available) ONLY in that they rarely stack. In all other respects they're unlike said boxes, being sustainable and beautiful.

Frost and clear skies helped produce this image in the shade of our house, at the edge of the pond - the lower left of the image.

Concealed under a couple of inches of ice are (hopefully) the usual species of wildlife, waiting to play their part in the food chain...
