We wish that we knew who the photographer was of this postcard view of Children’s Corner on Scarborough’s South Bay. The groups of people it depicts are lovely! The postmark is dated 1904.

We are pleased to present the documentry, I Am Martin Parr, which is the definitive portrait of an extraordinary photographer who revolutionized contemporary photography by inventing a political, humanist and playful style.

The screening will be precceded by an introduction from exploring the history of street photography in scarborugh from walkies to martin parr. We are also excited to present a handout/zine to all attendees featuring interviews with two amazing local photographers and whose work have both been influenced by parr.

For any photo fans or photographers this is an event not to be missed!
