She's here! Born on Tuesday afternoon, our beautiful baby girl - still unnamed (why is it so hard!). I am thankful for a very smooth birth but as she had passed meconium in the waters we had to stay overnight, so I couldn't resist asking Elliot to bring in my camera for 5 mins of photos before discharge the next morning 🥰 I wanted to capture that absolute brand-new-ness - every little detail. And for her, it was a taste of what she can expect for the rest of her life, being born to a photographer 🫶

Most people prepare for a new baby by creating the perfect nursery, organising a travel system and curating a beautiful mini wardrobe, but our priority this time round looked a little different.. We absolutely had to sort our four year old's sleep.

I couldn't face the multiple night visits when I'm also going to be up feeding a newborn, and it felt like now or never to crack those (often pre) 5am starts. So I sent an early morning SOS to Jenny two weeks ago. We have worked with Jenny before and I truly can't explain her magic touch. She is so calm and clear with her guidance, and I love her gentle and supportive approach, which makes the whole thing feel manageable.

I always feel like sharing this kind of thing is jinxing it but we now have two children who sleep 7-6 every single night and I genuinely never thought I would say that!
