What Talent we have in Ruthin Camera Club. "Aspects of Anglesey" delivered to us by Mary , Stewart and Stephen was interesting on so many levels. It included History , humour and an insight into Anglesey I have rarely seen.
The photographic images in a series of Audio Visual presentations, to eclectic and appropriate music, were presented and produced collaboratively in a relaxed and professional way. My appetite to explore the island increased no end. Thank you.

Richard Hainsworth came to Ruthin Camera Club last Tuesday and gave a very ,very interesting talk. he sharred some of his favourite processes tips and was inspiring in his honesty about his own personal journey. I found this lovely article and although he has recently changed his occupation it gives aflavour of his excellent talk.

As well as being a busy vicar at Northop Hall, Reverend Dr Richard Hainsworth finds time to be an award-winning photographer. He talks to Oliver Atwell

Last post I promise! For anybody interested!

A day in Snowdonia capturing fashion and mining portraits! This event will take place around the surrounding area of Cwmorthin Quarry near Blaenau Ffestiniog so join us as we journey into this amazing location with a professional fashion model and a miner/s re-enactor/s!

The day will begin at 11:30am for a briefing in a local cafe (lakeside cafe) then we will head up into the quarry exploring a variety of different locations with our models that offer the best photography opportunities. The distressed slate buildings and grey stone slag piles will create a wonderful shooting environment for dramatic portraiture. The female model for the day will be wearing some eye catching flowing dresses that will contrast wonderfully with the grey slate. Our male model/s will be wearing authentic looking mining gear to create convincing historical portraits.
