An older photo of mine that I thought would be a very fitting tribute.

“Remember to look up at the stars and not down at your feet. Try to make sense of what you see and wonder about what makes the universe exist. Be curious. And however difficult life may seem, there is always something you can do and succeed at.
It matters that you don't just give up.” - Prof. Stephen Hawking

This country never ceases to amaze. This weekend we had some of the worst snow I have seen through the central belt of Scotland. With it, I have also witnessed some of the most touching acts of kindness and a community spirit that I thought had long gone. People really going out of their way to help those who need it the most.

Just as a wee thought, this is what the weather was like a week past Sunday, compare it to yesterday. The weather here is as diverse as the wildlife and people that call this place their home.

Thank you all again for stopping by.

Following on from yesterdays post. We were heading on our way out from Milarochy Bay when we bumped into this jolly wee fella.

Now, he's from a wee bit before my time but I decided to watch one of his shows on YouTube and found it pretty interesting. Might actually try and see a good few more of them if I can find them.

Can ye tell me who this is and where the statue can be found? And share any memories you have of this gent :)

Cheers again for stopping by folks and have yerselves a cracker of a day!

Evening folks,

Another 4am wake up to head out towards Loch Lomond and the Trossachs on Sunday. Thankfully, for all concerned, I wasn't doing the driving this time haha. Big cheers for my mate for doing the driving.

First stop off was at the most photographed tree in the whole of Scotland at Milarochy Bay. Was really hoping that there would have been more water on the loch, as when there is it surrounds the whole base of the tree and looks absolutely fantastic.

Hope you enjoy the image and as always, thank you all for stopping and not scrolling on by ;)

Have a good one!

Ooooft!!! There's a lot of ye out there that must really love cheesecake eh? haha.
In all seriousness though, I would like to extend a really warm welcome to all the new people following the page. I do hope that most of you will stick around for a while and join me on my photographic journey.

So, a quick wee bit about me; My name's Michael and I have been into photography for about the last 6 years or so. Mostly interested in the beautiful Scottish Landscape, but I will be venturing into other areas of photography this year. Being based in Rosyth, you would think that the page would be full of just the bridges. If I thought for a minute that I could get away with that I probably would :D haha

Please, feel free to comment, share and enjoy the page. If you have questions that you wanna ask just fire away.

Most of all though, thank you very much for just stopping by and best of luck to each and every one of you who have entered in to the Yellow Cafe competition.

Hiya folks,

Hope that you are all doing well?

I know I've not been on the page for a wee while, but I did say from the start that I'm no gonna be one of those pages that pesters ye with umpteen posts every day ;)

I've been madly busy this month with work and I'm still trying to get this portfolio website up and running for you all - it's getting there and hopefully will be launched in a weeks time, if all goes to plan that is! haha

So here's a photo for you all. This is the old (refurbished) pier at Culross. Now there is a fair bit of excitement kicking about down in Culross just now with the return of the Outlander film crew! I dont think they could have picked a more stunning location.

Cheers again for stopping by, and I hope to hear from you on the comments section below :)

The moon was still fairly high in the sky as the sun started to hit the peak of the Buachaille.

Always a favourite place of mine, would live around that area in a heartbeat if it was possible.

Thanks again for stopping by folks and have a great day :)
