Started the week with a little trip to the Frida Kahlo exhibition at the Tate Modern 🌺

Aside from the insane colour and emotion in her work, I loved seeing just how many different ways she created.

Painting, photography, fashion, becoming the subject herself… she really wasn’t interested in sticking to one thing.

And in a world where we’re constantly told to niche down and find our thing, it was a nice reminder that you’re still allowed to play or make something just because you fancy it.

I also loved seeing people from all over the world experiencing her work, and the pieces other artists have gone on to create in response to it. There’s something pretty special about creativity continuing to inspire more creativity all these years later!

Enough planning that we know what we’re creating… but enough freedom to see what happens once we’re actually there.

We can plan the vision, the location, the styling and all the little details. But you can’t always plan the moments that unfold naturally, that end up making the final gallery✨

I haven’t felt massively inspired to show up online lately!

Not because I don’t love photography or what I’m building. I’ve just been a lot more present in my actual life.

And weirdly, I’ve been taking more photos than ever. Just not constantly for work. I think sometimes creativity needs to exist without needing to become content.

Friends, family, flowers, places I want to remember. Tiny moments that probably mean nothing to anyone else.

So that’s where I’ve been for a little bit! Still here & still creating! Just living some of it first🫶🌸🌞🌅🍃
