No, ’s skin isn’t filtered ( can you believe it?!?).
It’s the result of thoughtful preparation, the right products, refined technique and flattering lighting.
1. Great skin prep ( I will die on this hill🤣)
Makeup only looks as good as the skin underneath it. Proper hydration, smoothing and balancing the skin before any makeup is applied allows foundation to sit seamlessly rather than clinging to texture or dryness.
2. High end products
Not all makeup is designed the same. Don’t get me wrong I love a dupe but luxury high-performance formulas from brands such as layered lightly to create a photo finish that lasts for hours without looking heavy or separating on the skin.
3. Refined technique
Now you could have the most luxury products on the market but product placement matters just as much as the products themselves. Strategic placement, ultra-thin layers and careful blending allow the skin to remain visible while still evening tone and enhancing natural features.
4. Flattering lighting
Soft, natural light is incredibly forgiving and allows skin to glow in the way it does in real life. Combine that with an epic makeup light and you are on to a winning formula! When makeup is applied correctly for camera as well as for “real life” you will see your features are enhanced and your face looks 3D. If you just use one tone all over the skin it will look mask like and unnatural on camera!
My goal is skin that still looks like skin, just elevated, luminous and beautifully polished. ✨
