Lately, I’ve seen less and less work coming my way as a graphic designer. Not because I’ve stopped trying, but simply because a majority of clients are choosing to use Ai instead.

I get it. It’s faster but more importantly cheaper! But it’s still tough to see something I’ve spent a number of years doing to be suddenly be replaced so easily.

Just to let you know I’m still here, still creating, and still believing that human design has real value.

*Word of advice those clients who HAVE chosen to replace my services with Ai generated imagery…it’s simple, don’t bother contacting me again. Regardless of our previous history, your request for future work or to collaborate will be denied!

Whilst I can’t reveal which group this commission is for just yet 👀

I can say that the brief called for a party theme featuring a blue background, with a single party object like a cake, or candles or a party hat as the primary image.

This is what I came up with 🎉💙

I respect each client’s right to choose how they source artwork.

However, if you decide to use AI-generated art in place of services either from myself or other talented artists found online, I will consider our professional working relationship concluded and will no longer offer future services to you 👍

(This also includes adding Ai sh*t onto my designs without permission!)

Still not over this! Chuffed to bits that I got to design the artwork for Bugsy Malone Canterbury, starring Game of Thrones and Matilda The Musical star Kerry Ingram.

As a GOT fan and a designer, this was one of those pinch-me projects.
Beyond grateful for the opportunity and the amazing team behind it.

I want to be transparent about something that directly affects my ability to do my job well.

When messages, emails, or requests go unanswered, it creates delays, confusion, and unnecessary rework. My role depends on timely communication and collaboration. Without responses, decisions stall, deadlines slip, and the quality of work suffers, through no lack of effort, but because information and alignment are missing.

Effective communication isn’t just a courtesy; it’s a requirement for doing our jobs properly. If something is received, even a quick acknowledgment or timeline for response makes a big difference.

I’m committed to doing my best work, and that’s only possible when communication flows both ways.

Been sat on this for a couple of months, finally glad to reveal the artwork for my good friends at Canterbury Panto's SIXTH pantomime 'Goldilocks', which will be hitting The Malthouse Theatre stage next Christmas! 🐻🐻🐻

I’ll be pausing new commissions until the end of Panto season (oh yes, I will!).

I’ve got a full schedule of exciting projects to complete; including brochure and programme designs, promotional videos, and a variety of other creative work.
