If I can make you laugh, smile or bring a tear to your eye when you look back at the photos then I know I have done the best job I can do. You won't find me getting in the way, directing people to look in a certain direction or act a particular way. I try to just be there, watch what happens and capture the events as they unroll. Even that special time when it comes to getting some portraits of the two of you as a newly married couple will be relaxed and spontaneous. It will be a chance for you to catch your breath and have a little time together, we will chat, have some fun and I will let you be you. There is so much thought that goes in to your wedding day, the decisions, the details and most importantly the people. All of those will be captured as a they are on the day, a memory for you to have for years to come. My approach to wedding & portrait photography, and business generally, is friendly, informal and with a personal touch. I like to create a great rapport from the very beginning so it will always be me who speaks to you on the phone, answers your emails, meets with you to run through your requirements and takes the photographs. All these things make it easier to build a trusting relationship which means I can get those great individual shots that show the real you and your relationships, rather than just being 'the photographer'.
