I managed 15 minutes with the camera yesterday in the rain and drizzle. I went and visited an old friend on the way to work.

went out yesterday with my camera on the sole purpose to capture some tree images. The weather has been challenging recently. So I set myself a challenge to go for a walk and see what I could capture. I ended up on top of the South Downs which was very muddy and wet. These beeches are well known I am always trying to get a photo that I'm happy with, I waited for a bank of rain to come across did not have to wait that long, which helped block out the background view. I then new what I wanted to do with the edit! desaturated the colour to which I think works. So as always just get out with the camera and enjoy the process no matter what! Very happy with this image. One to print. .uk

I am lucky enough to exhibit and sell some of my work at Wisley Gallery. Which is always lovely when you sell some of your work. There is twelve different artists which are curated. As the only photographer it has to be seasonal. They have asked for something green, spring green photography. This is one that I have prepared ready for print which I think fits the brief.

This is the setting Wolf Moon, I spotted this as I was driving to work. It made me stop turn around and get my camera out. It was freezing also. Canon UK

A grey overcast day, I also want to play with my camera so when conditions aren't quite right it means one thing! Long exposure photography. Which I love doing. Always makes a picture feel fine arty. I took the family to Bexhill on Sea for a walk and sea of if I could find anything to point the camera at. I came away with a couple of images that I'm happy with. And yes filters were used with a lot of dodging and burning in processing to get the result I wanted. I like I hope you do? @yourcoasts

This was taken on my 50th Birthday 21st December. Which I have made a thing to do the last few years. I decided to drive to Felixstowe to get a long exposure picture as the weather was not great. A 5 hour round trip to get an image! We are a funny breed us photographers. Was it worth it well I think so. Canon UK

A 16:9 crop of a long exposure at West Pier Brighton. Which I think works better than a square crop. I have also darken the edit which also helps with the image.
