A little Friday behind the scenes 📸🏀

Luiza’s breakfast, a run with our two dogs, reliving Katie & Kam’s wedding while working on their blog, then off to Leeds for Sophie & Joe’s pre-wedding shoot.

Finished the day swapping cameras for basketball.

Good food, good people, and doing what I love. ❤️

Some moments simply belong in black and white.

Without colour, everything else becomes a little louder. The light, the composition, the expressions, the movement and the emotion.
For me, black and white wedding photography isn't about applying a monochrome edit afterwards. It's about recognising the moments where colour isn't needed in the first place.
Sometimes it's a quiet portrait. Sometimes it's architecture and symmetry. Sometimes it's a fleeting moment in the middle of the dance floor.

🌿A Woodland Wedding at Hazlewood Castle | Ema & Dave 💍

Some weddings simply have a different atmosphere... and Ema & Dave's day was one of them.
Hidden away beneath the trees at Hazlewood Castle's Woodland Wedding venue, their celebration was relaxed, emotional and full of unforgettable moments. From an outdoor ceremony surrounded by nature to a beautiful tipi reception and an evening packed with laughter, confetti and dancing, it was a joy to photograph every moment.
