1. Service Overview
We offer professional conversion of VHS and other video formats to digital formats such as MP4 or DVD. Additional services like editing, or mino
r restoration are available on request.
2. Customer Responsibility
• Shipping: Customers are responsible for securely packaging and shipping their tapes to us. Please use padded envelopes or sturdy boxes to avoid damage during transit. Please use a recorded service. Alternatively we accept local drop offs.
• Backups: If possible, please make a backup of your tapes before sending them. We take every precaution to protect your tapes, but sending original materials is done at your own risk.
3. Liability
• We treat your tapes with care but are not responsible for loss or damage during shipping or due to tape degradation prior to receipt. Tapes that are already in poor condition may have limited conversion quality.
• We are not liable for any loss, damage, or decreased quality if the tapes are degraded, damaged, or malfunctioning when we receive them.
4. Turnaround Time
• The typical turnaround time for our service is 5 business days from the time we receive your tapes, but this may vary depending on the volume of your order.
• Expedited services are available for an additional fee upon request.
5. Payment and Pricing
• Payment is required before we begin working on your order. We accept PayPal.
• Prices are clearly listed on our website, with discounts available for bulk orders.
6. Refunds and Cancellations
• Due to the nature of our services, all sales are final once the conversion process has started.
• If you wish to cancel your order, please contact us before work begins for a full refund. No refunds will be issued once the conversion process has started.
7. Viewing for Quality Control
• To ensure the best possible outcome, we must partially view the contents of your tapes during the conversion process for quality control purposes. This allows us to check for tape errors, ensure proper conversion, adjust colour levels as needed and confirm that the final digital product meets our standards.
• We do not retain or share any personal content beyond the time needed to complete the quality check, and all content is handled with strict confidentiality.
8. Copyright and Legal Compliance
• You are responsible for ensuring that any content on the tapes you send complies with copyright and intellectual property laws. We cannot accept tapes containing illegal or unauthorised content.
9. Privacy
• We respect your privacy. Any personal information or content on the tapes will remain confidential and will not be shared with any third party, except as required by law.
10. Customer Satisfaction
• If you are not satisfied with the quality of our service, please contact us within 30 days of receiving your digital files or DVDs. We will work with you to resolve any issues.
