🎃🖤 MY HALLOWEEN TREAT! 👻

Last night was my Halloween treat, and it's become a bit of a tradition for me to spend a night in October investigating somewhere spooky without the pressure of filming everything myself. Just me, a location, and the chance to experience it without thinking about cameras! 🖤

This year, I headed to 30 East Drive! 😈🏚️

But this time, I wasn't alone! 👀 I had some very special guests with me who filmed the whole thing, but I'm not allowed to tell you who just yet! 🤫

I can give you a little clue, though… 🐈‍⬛

They're definitely NOT paranormal investigators! 🤣

And let's just say, after this experience, I don't think I'll ever look at 30 East Drive in quite the same way again! 😳👻 I don't think I have ever laughed so much on a ghost hunt before!

I cannot WAIT for you to see what happened! Believe me, this is one Halloween treat you won't want to miss! 🎃🖤 it was a perfect mix of chaos and spooky 👻

Billy is the cutest 😍 ❤️

If you’ve been to Spook & Spirit Fest, you’ll probably recognise Billy! 👻💜

Billy has been part of our Spook & Spirit family from the very beginning and has been to every single one of our events.

Billy is also a little boy with a very big heart — and for a number of years now, he has been working incredibly hard to raise money for Candlelighters. 🕯️💜

And there’s a very special reason why.

When Billy was just 2 years old, his mum and dad alongside his family, were given the devastating news that their little boy had a Wilms tumour — a type of kidney cancer.

Billy had to undergo surgery to remove his right kidney, followed by both chemotherapy and radiotherapy. He also needed blood transfusions during his treatment.

It was an incredibly frightening and difficult time for Billy and his family. 💔

Throughout that incredibly difficult journey, Candlelighters were there for Billy and his family.

For years, he has been fundraising and doing his bit to help other children and families facing childhood cancer — because he knows first-hand just how much that support can mean.

🕯️ So, what do Candlelighters do?

Candlelighters support children with cancer and their families across Yorkshire, helping them through the devastating impact childhood cancer can have.

They provide emotional and practical support, experiences, activities and opportunities for families, as well as helping children, parents and siblings feel supported and less alone.

For families going through something no family should ever have to face, Candlelighters can be a light during an incredibly dark time. 🕯️💜

And in 2027 at Spook and Spirit Fest, we are incredibly proud to be joining Billy in raising money for Candlelighters.

Tonight was a reminder of just how frightening it can be investigating with just us lasses. For a moment, it genuinely felt like we were being hunted for sport. 🫠

The next video will show you just how quickly that fear for our safety can kick in.

It makes me so sad sometimes that I can't just go out exploring at any time of night, on my own or with other women, without having to switch straight into fight-or-flight mode. We should be able to explore, investigate, and enjoy the places we love without feeling unsafe. Luckily, this time, we were safe 🙏

Please look after yourselves out there, Bad Cats. Stick together, trust your instincts, and never feel like you have to stay somewhere when something doesn't feel right.
