Oceanus 17 at REPMUS 2026 🇵🇹

One of the films we produced for Zero USV during this year’s exercises in Portugal, capturing Oceanus 17 deploying sonobuoys and a variable depth sonar.

Filming from the air required permissions from the Portuguese Navy and NATO, involving substantial applications and coordination before we could fly. That preparation allowed us to capture aerial perspectives within a tightly controlled military exercise environment.

A second year at REPMUS for both Zero USV and Different View, and a pleasure to return alongside the team to showcase their work on the water.

A few stills from our recent work with Robert Wynn & Sons.

Capturing Terra Marique was one of those projects where the scale only really becomes apparent when you see the vessel within the wider environment.

From the river transit through to the heavy-lift operation itself, we used a mixture of aerial and ground photography to document both the vessel and the engineering behind the job.

A brilliant operation to capture, and a great example of the kind of maritime and complex-environment work we’re increasingly involved in.

Planning was a big part of this one.

With no access onboard Terra Marique, we carried out a recce of the route, identified the best filming positions and worked around the vessel’s timings so we could stay ahead of the operation.

That preparation meant we could capture the scale of the vessel and the wider project from a range of perspectives using drone and ground-based filming.

A milestone moment for Zero USV ⭐️

We were there to capture the naming ceremony of Oceanus 17, bringing together the team behind the vessel, guests and to mark the latest chapter in Zero USV’s autonomous maritime programme.

A short film for a big moment, combining aerial and ground footage to capture the vessel, the people behind it and the occasion.

Great to continue documenting Zero USV’s journey as their technology moves forward.

A few frames from an evening around Padstow with the Mavic 4 Pro, catching the coastline as the last light moved across the cliffs and out over the Atlantic.

From the wider views of the headland to the rocks and coves below, this is exactly the sort of light that makes the Cornish coastline hard to beat.

The Mavic 4 Pro is quickly proving itself as a fantastic addition to the Different View kit, particularly for landscape and coastal photography.

Photographing P&O Cruises for Cattewater Harbour Plymouth.

Great to capture Aurora making her way into Plymouth Sound, and a fitting final shoot for the Mavic 3 as Different View’s flagship drone.

With around 1,500 hours in the air, it’s been an incredible workhorse across countless maritime shoots. The Mavic 4 Pro now takes over as our flagship aircraft, but the Mavic 3 has certainly earned its place in the kit bag.
