Part of the project “I am where I am”:
I am where I am explores the relationship between identity, clothing, and domestic space. The project looks at how our bedrooms become places of self expression, intimacy, memory, and personal growth.
The work examines how the spaces we inhabit shape who we are and how clothing carries personal and emotional significance within those spaces.

Heidi didn’t want her portrait taken directly. I gave her a shutter release cable to take her portrait and left the room. It was only her and the camera, and when she felt ready she took the portrait.
