Children are often shy at the beginning of photoshoots. It’s often a new place with a strange woman holding a big camera!
That’s why I take the time to talk to your children, find out things about them. We play games and run around. If they need cuddles and closeness to Mum and Dad, that’s also ok. It’s also ok if they don’t smile!!

I often find it interesting which photos from a gallery are your favourites compared to mine. Sometimes they’re the same, sometimes not. Sometimes it’s the photos that capture all the little details of your child, not the one where they’re smiling at the camera. The tiny bunches and little welly boots.

💜 I don’t think my children will behave 💜

My aim is for you and your children to leave our photoshoot thinking “that was fun!”
How do I do this?
Well, we play games, we laugh, I usually end up pulling silly faces, saying funny things or falling over! I have a bag full of tricks! You’ll also have lots of cuddles, kisses and tickles!
I also have two young boys of my own and I know too well that children don’t like to sit still and pose for photos. Or if they do you get the horrendous Chandler Bing smile (I hope you know what I mean!)
I’ve also worked as a teacher and teaching assistant for 15 years in Senior and Primary schools so I think I’m pretty well equipped!

After all the rain over the last few months, it’s been so great to have two days of sunshine and get out with my boys. Seen glimmers of spring colour everywhere. I’ve also seen the bluebells popping through the leaves in the woods. There are slots still available for bluebell minis!
