Hi, I’m Lauren 👋

I started photography back in 2020 and, for the most part, I’ve taught myself, with a little help from a family friend along the way. I’ve learned through YouTube, social media, magazines, and by being inspired by amazing local photographers.

Over the years I’ve tried a bit of everything: family sessions, newborns, weddings, even pets. But what truly makes me happiest is the freedom of capturing our local wildlife and the beautiful scenery around us. There’s just something special about being out in nature with my camera.

I’ve had a few laptop hiccups recently but I’m hoping to make a comeback in 2026 and I can’t wait to share more images with you all. So for the meantime, here are some of my favourites images I’ve captured over the years.

I may not have picked up my camera in a very long time but that didn’t stop my Dides taking his own camera along with him to capture some photos on my special day. I have enjoyed going through all his images and picking out the best ones to share on here, I think this has maybe giving me the boost I need to come back and start taking snaps again… I just need to re name my page 🙊

Myself and Bryan got married at Gretna Green on Tuesday 15th July, we were staying at a family caravan site 50mins away from Gretna but when I realised there was a disused old lighthouse in the village attached to where we were staying, I needed to get photos taken there. It was the most wholesome, home from home feel being next to the sea. It may have rained on and off on our special day but that didn’t stop us from getting the images I wanted.

Southerness is a beautiful little village and I highly recommend to any photographer out there, get down to that beach for some photos, we enjoyed a lovely meal at the Paul Jones Hotel and you can see the lighthouse from there too 🤍

Huge thank you to my Dides for taking these images, we had a photographer at Gretna Green but it’s always going to be sentimental to us that a family member captured these for us 📸🤍
