A lil’ confetti sequence I love from Lucy & Ben’s perfect October wedding last week. It was so windy, the little paper dots whirled round in flurries and there was so much delightful chaos. So what makes a perfect wedding beyond the details, setting & material things? It’s the energy, the love and above all the people of course 🥹 These guys were a dream because they were so relaxed, full of fun and giggles and up for anything. Above all, they just wanted to enjoy and embrace their day, storms and all. I’ll be thinking about this gorgeous day for a long time. Thanks for having me Lucy & Ben!

Even though this wedding was from the summer last year, this autumn weather got me all nostalgic for it and then I remembered I shot some medium format from it and never shared it 😅 We were all so nervous about the weather that day but the MIST! Who could have foreseen? Absolute peak romance wandering around historic with the trees peeping out between the veils. Charlotte’s dress though… forever obsessed 🤩

We’re out of the office! It’s 7.24am here in Chicago and we’ve been awake for hours 😅 if you’ve sent us an email you’ve probably become familiar with our out of office responder. When your faves in the wedding industry ask you to capture their wedding, you know it’s a huge honour 🥹

Georgie & Guy are the absolute loveliest humans you could meet and they also happen to be extremely cool. It’s annoying when people are cool AND nice, some just have it all 😛 They had a heartfelt ceremony delivered in Cornish Language by the father of the groom which was so beautiful to hear and they performed some old ceremony rituals before exchanging rings that the bride made. The DIY aspects of the wedding were incredible, especially since Georgie, Guy and their mums made pretty much everything by hand from the decor to the mead. A special shout out needs to go to .yates.jewellery for all her handy work & props! A real family affair. Thankyou so much for having us along for the ride and for the good times ✌️

When you get to capture the most divine retro wedding on film 🥰🥹 Abbie & Rory’s wedding was everything and we’re so jazzed that it’s up on our photo editing screen this week. One lil’ sneaky peek of when they left their lakeside ceremony by boat to one of our favourite songs captured on Contax G2 with Kodak film.

The colours though 🥰👌🏻
