With clear sky and the stats looking good last night I headed down to Penmon Point for a look, with only one other photographer on the beach I didn't hold my breath. As I set up my camera on the rocks and tried a few test shots, it was a nice surprise to see the burst of colour on the back of the camera.

'Giants Sword'

Quick trip last night while the skies are clear, The Giant sword of Llanberis. Under a clear nights sky. 300 plus images taken of an hour then stacked into one, capturing the movement of the stars.

'Lone Tree'

The Lone tree in Llanberis, under thousands of stars. This is 300 photos stacked on top of each other into one final image.

I think I will revisit this one in a few weeks when the moon isn't as bright, this will allow me to capture longer star trail and hopefully a little more colour in the stars, What do you think ?

Llyn y Dywarchen not far from Rhyd Du, nestled between the colossal peaks of Mynydd Mawr, Y Garn and Yr Wyddfa, you are guaranteed to look in any direction and see some absolutely spectacular scenery.

A quick visit to the lake always produces different photography opportunities, the day went from clear blues skies to dark clouds and snow. Its a landscapes photographers dream location.
