I see a long veil and immediately I lose all self-control. I LOVE a veil shot.

They feel a bit like a secret. Like we're getting a peak into an intimate moment.

They catch light beautifully, frame you naturally, & give the most dreamy, ethereal look.

It's just a piece of fabric but somehow it turns into art. And I'll never tire of photographing moments like this.

So yeah. Brides, get a veil. 🤩

She’s beauty. She’s grace. She’s the calmest bride to ever stand in front of my camera like she owns a Cotswolds estate.

And today… it’s her birthday.

This woman is not only a dear friend — she’s also the kind of bride every photographer quietly dreams of. Effortless. Elegant. Completely herself. The kind of presence that doesn’t need to try hard to feel refined.

We shot this at a countryside manor here in Oxfordshire, and I remember thinking, this is what timeless looks like. Strong posture. Soft light. A dress that moved gently in the breeze. No fuss. No forced smiles. Just quiet confidence and joy.

Her kindness.
Her steady faith.

And that’s the part I love most — photographing women who are not only beautiful, but deeply grounded.
