Lovely to see all the wildflowers today whilst out on one of my favourite walks. Oh and spotting a fox and a deer was a big bonus too. I did photograph the deer but not the fox sadly...photos to follow.

After planning out the walk on Monday to check it's suitability It was lovely to take the Wednesday walkers to this delightful church which is known as the church in the farmland due to its rural location. Rodden church was built in 1640. It was a lovely spot to rest for a short while before our return walk back to Frome. There were 17 walkers in total. Somerset Activity & Sports Partnership - SASP

A lovely little ramble to Rodden Church to check out the route to see if it's suitable for the Wednesday walkers with Somerset Activity & Sports Partnership - SASP ... I'm pleased to say it is, not too far from our meeting point and nothing to strenuous too.👏 Rodden church was built in 1640 and was built on the site of a previous medieval church. ⛪Cley hill just over into the Wiltshire border can be seen in the distance.

The last few days have been eventful with these lovely sightings. On Sunday morning in the field behind my house we were very lucky to spot this young Roe deer, he was having a bit of trouble trying to find his way out of the field but after a short while he was on his way. Not long after Mr fox made an appearance. The hare who was sunbathing was spotted in a field whilst on a walk in Nunney.
