As 2025 comes to an end and after a lot of reflection, I’m sharing this with a very full heart. The Shutter and Eye Photography has now closed and I will no longer be taking on any new bookings.
When I first began this journey over 10 years ago, photography meant everything to me. Over time, the industry has changed so much with the rise of AI and the way the creative space looks today, and I’ve had to be honest with myself. The business and I have both evolved, and I’ve reached a place where my heart is no longer fully in it. Making this decision hasn’t been easy, but it feels like the right one for now.
To every client who trusted me with your most meaningful moments, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Being invited into your lives to capture your stories, milestones, and memories has been an honour I will always treasure.
To the friends I’ve made along the way, thank you for the support, the laughter, the late nights, and the beautiful moments we shared. This chapter has given me far more than photographs. It’s given me connections and memories I’ll carry forever.
That being said, to the families who have returned to me year after year to capture your growing milestones, please don’t hesitate to reach out. This is something I would truly love to continue on a more personal level.
And who knows, maybe one day I’ll pick up the camera again and feel what I once felt. Until then, thank you for 10 unforgettable years, for believing in me, and for being part of this journey.
