s1b.com photography Capturing the moment photography. Through out my life I've always had a camera. It's taken me until Large format negatives of steam trains and ships.

At the age of 11, Maybe younger my Mother brought home a developing kit. Photographic paper and chemicals, an amber light bulb and a frame to hold the neg and paper. My sisters bedroom doubled as my darkroom. I'd prepare the negative paper. Cover it up and run into the lounge and hold the frame to the light. 1, 2, 3, 4, cover and run to the darkroom. It's a cliché I know but I would literally wat

ch the image appear as if by magic. I feel a frisson of that excitement as I type this. This is what I do. If you've a project for me get in touch. If not enjoy the photography.

A minute of the tail end of Eowyn. The wind had dropped to around 35 MPH with gusts upto 50MPH. I caught the tide as it turned too. There was a moment just after sclack water where the whole thing seemed to go crazy. I love the shots looking out over the bay. Press the pause button and take a look at the sea.

I think there's a better shot to be had here. It's all in the focus.
The stats; The moon is 230,601 miles away. It's radius or the point that's nearest, to an approximate point that's furthest, is 1,079 miles. That's like trying to focus on something between here and Barcelona. The lens is 1200mm and then the screen is zoomed in to focus. Field of view is now measured in minutes and then there's the speed it moves at - it's out of the frame within 15 - 20 seconds!
Challenge accepted.

Downloading shot from yesterdays timelapse shoots when I found this from a few weeks ago. It's part of 5 timelapse sequences I shot on the night. I'll get around to doing them shortly.

My efforts were on shooting time lapse sequences. These are the shots off my mobile and are in lieu of the final videos.
