2026 my very first milky way photo after not being out for a few years. Taken at 02:30 this morning whist most people are sleeping.

this morning was not about taking that perfect photo, it was about being out and getting m hand back on the camera.

Roll on the next month or 2 to hopefully get back to seeing the core of the milky way alot higher.

A full moon made the image a tad brighter than I had hoped for but never the less still a very clear image.

My Morning in a nut shell, head out on my day off from my full time job.

Change of plan at 0430 this morning as was heading to a cozy little cove on the Isle of Wight, but was raining and didn’t want to venture down there to be battered by the rain.

Bembridge Lifeboat station was my next chosen venue. I’m glad that I chose this location, to start off with it was very overcast to then be patient and watch the clouds lift to open up with some colour.

I would like to say thank you for choosing me to capture your special day.

Despite the rain that we had, we still managed to capture those special family memories.
