I see more and more reasons why Slow Shopping makes so much sense.
For many, shopping can be something simple. Part of the weekly routine.
But we seem to live in a world where everything 'needs' to be done at pace. And so for others, the busy and often frenetic retail world just doesn't work - whether due to neuro diverse challenges, physical constraints, or simply a person that prefers a gentler, quieter experience.
There are a number of people very close to me, who would benefit from more opportunities to shop in a slower, gentler, quieter environment.

And, it's not just something that is 'nice to do'. It makes a lot of economic sense, too - a quieter shopping experience means people are more likely to spend more time in store.

Aside from photography, I get great pleasure from music and dance. I'm privileged to present the Hoodoo Blues radio show on Nova Radio North East alternate weeks, with Melissa Davy.
I've just finished the playlist for Sunday's show. It's going to be a half'n'half - half Blues, half Fusion (Fusion being any type of music that wants to make us dance)......Including an opening feature from a Bluesman that I'm seeing next week with a few friends in Manchester on Wednesday.
