I still can’t quite believe that Sycamore Gap is missing its sycamore 😥

I was very lucky to walk along some of Hadrian’s Wall in September 2021 and capture this shot of the tree with my iPhone.

Talking of snow….I’m thrilled to have my photo featured in the 2025 Port Sunlight calendar.

Sycamore Gap

In Northumberland, along Hadrian’s Wall, is a lone sycamore tree which can be seen for miles around. It attracts many visitors, who stop to admire it before they continue their walk along the wall.

It’s been a privilege to have my photography be the basis for Plugelab’s cover art…a music project between myself and my good friend Ed George.
Here’s a link to our latest release Exisitng/Evolving which uses the image I took in Mid Wales of a lone tree on a hill.
