Yesterday on my way home from being out, I spotted a young hedgehog near a main road. His mam had been ran over (presumed it was his mam). I gently picked him up and move him back to the woodland edge so that he could have a better chance away from the cars

Theres a good chance he might end up at gosforth nature reserve as it was just down the road.

What's more beautiful than a pheasant? A family of pheasants!

I was watching a male, female, and four young pheasants foraging through tall grass and wildflowers when Mom and one of the chicks hopped up onto this log together and seemed to pose perfectly for my camera.

Moments like these are why I love wildlife photography.
