Last year, I challenged myself to travel to Norway and backpack across a goacier for a week, camping on the way.

This year, I am going to complete the Peak of the Balkanโ€™s trail in much hotter temperatures.

This route covers 192km of mountainous terrain between Albania, Montenegro & Kosovo and some of the most beautiful scenery ever.

I am considering raising money for charity during this but unsure on which charity yet.

Also, any brands that would like to discuss collaborations, please reach out.

Happy New Year all! Like most, your NY resolution might include getting outdoors & summiting mountains.

Getting outside is a perfect mental reset, but Iโ€™d like to highlight the risks involved.

You might see lovely shots on Instagram, people climbing Snowdon in Crocs + un**es etc which is far from reality.

The correct gear is crucial and can ultimately save your life. Ensure warm clothing is packed and you start walking with minimal layers. Most summits are VERY different from down below.

Donโ€™t sweat walking up, bring warm clothes for the top.

Mountain rescue is made up of VOLUNTEERS, volunteering to risk their lives for you. Q

Eat plenty of calories as some walks are more challenging than your favourite app claims. Nuts, dates, sweets are great & keep hydrated.

Donโ€™t leave litter anywhere, take it with you. You are visiting these places because your hometown is a sh****le, donโ€™t ruin this too.

Have fun, stay safe & be considerate of others when on the trail.

After trekking through woodlands for a fair bit, we headed off trail to find some suitable ground to call home for the night.

Pretty cold night and even got hit by a short-lived snow storm at 6AM โ„๏ธ
