I became a photographer long before I realised it ⬇️

A-Level photography projects turned into a passion… then I discovered my Great Grandad was a portrait & wedding photographer, and everything clicked. 📸✨

From creating styled shoots with friends to working as a photographic stylist on fashion and interior sets in Manchester — photography has always been my world.

After being made redundant, I took the leap and built my own business, it’s been a rocky road with highs, low and everything in-between.

Now I photograph Personal Brand Photoshoots for small business owners, Creative Portraits for Artists & creatives and Weddings & Engagement sessions for couples in love across Manchester, Cheshire, Liverpool and beyond ❤️ Still learning, growing and loving every minute. 

Please don’t forget to support that friend who has taken a risk to follow their dreams this season and always. There’s a whole lot of blood, sweat and tears that goes on behind the scenes as a business owner! ❤️📸

This is how I create scroll-stopping photographs in Manchester 📸

1. Book a studio/location that aligns with your clients brand.

2. Create - a moodboard and shot list so your client gets the most out of their photoshoot.

3. Prepare - work with your client so that you both bring relevant props to your clients personality and business. Also, and find out what furniture etc is available at your chosen location.

4. Have fun - Put some tunes on and get to know your client over a cuppa before you put a camera in their face. Believe me, it changes the whole vibe of your photoshoot!

✨Editing is where the magic happens ✨

For me taking the photo is just part of the process. When I’m editing your gallery, each image is carefully fine-tuned to match my signature style whilst I also make sure your images still look and feel like you!

Editing for me, isn’t about changing how you or things looked - it’s about enhancing how the images felt.

That’s why a photographers edit is so important, it’s not just about turning up and pressing a button. A lot of TLC goes into creating the best imagery possible for my clients from understanding the project brief right up to the edit!

Megan is a Pregnancy and Postpartum Counsellor and Psychotherapist, dedicated to supporting mums through every stage of their journey. 💕

When Megan reached out, she wanted to refresh her website imagery — with something that felt friendly and true to her brand. Together, we created a collection of photos that not only aligned beautifully with her existing branding, but also spoke directly to her ideal clients: mums seeking connection, support, and understanding.

It’s coming up to 20 years since I took up photography as a hobby 😱 and just over 6 as a photography business owner. 🎂

Although I’ve experimented with different areas of photography (Pets and Products being two of them!) one type of photography has always remained a constant… and that’s people!

I love thinking up creative concepts then photographing people in beautiful settings! I believe everyone can look great in front of the camera, with just a little bit of posing guidance and supportive photographer who gives you the time and space to feel comfortable in front of the camera.
