A huge thank you to MDCV UK Limited for inviting SAS Agri-Drones to undertake a spray demonstration at Silverhand Wine Estate.

A special thank you to Lucy Smith for organising the day, and to Tom Starr and Will Webber for their time, expertise and willingness to collaborate. Together we carried out a series of practical spray trials, using water-sensitive paper to optimise application performance and identify a configuration that delivered excellent coverage.

The day was a great example of what can be achieved through open collaboration, shared knowledge and a commitment to continuous improvement.

We’re grateful for the opportunity and are excited that both teams share an interest in continuing to work together through future trials and technical development.

Thank you again for your hospitality—we’re looking forward to what comes next.

And so ends another full week of Drone Applications across the U.K. for our team.
Acres and acres of Undersowing and Liquid fertiliser going down around the country.

The word is finally out and the future is looking very exciting indeed for Drones in agriculture.

A special thank you to Seth for the aerial shots and a big thank you to all those farms who’ve hosted us in the past week.

Southern teams conducting some liquid N first thing this morning in Herefordshire and then some cover cropping - versatility of the drones at their best! Northern teams undersowing more Maize in the rare northern sun! ☀️🌱🌽

What’s better than 1 drone for cover crop seeding? 2 drones working on the same block of land at the same time, twice as fast and done right a very safe operation, this was how our southern teams have covered over 300 hectares in the last 2 and a half days across Hampshire.

Today our southern teams have been out in Gloucestershire applying N28 foliar feed onto Maize 🌽 this was on the request of the agronomist who suggested it to perk up the crop as it was struggling due to compaction in the spring

A fantastic day in Cumbria today smashing more Hectares of Undersowing Maize 🌽🌱

An absolute beautiful backdrop and the T50 was in its element surrounded by other contractors getting the silage in and making the most of the sun ☀️

Hottest day of the year couldn’t stop us!

Thanks to all the farms who had us today, it was an absolute pleasure 🇬🇧

Steep Welsh hillsides, challenging terrain, and banks that only sheep could comfortably navigate.

Applying granular magnesium fertiliser safely, accurately, and efficiently where conventional machinery simply can’t go.

A full on day yesterday of both vineyard frost protection spraying across Berkshire and Oxfordshire then finishing off with some companion crop seeding for an organic farm in Hampshire. Our Agras spray drone is a versatile bit of kit and allows us to jump between many jobs easily.
