What better way to bring things up to date than with my most recent images taken yesterday - Dewi @ 14 weeks old 🥰

The photography area (studio😁) in the barn was always included in the plans for the barn and allows me to expand my photography knowledge learning about indoor lighting & set up. It great fun and I love it but doesn't replace taking photos outside, it just gives me the opportunity to enjoy both 💞

Coming up with a name for the barn came by accident and stuck. We think it's perfect for bringing together my craft goods and Tracy's Gundog training equipment, so only seemed right to include the photography too so Crafty Doghouse Photography it is 📷✨
I've taken more than a few private photo sessions over the years and am flattered to be asked, now with the creation of the studio, its time to push my comfort zone and create a page so here it is 🥳

My first digital camera arrived around 2009, the Panasonic Lumix Bridge Camera & I loved it. 🌟🥰 Although there's no option to change lens', it had all the same standard specification as a DSLR camera and got me started. A fabulous little camera and I took many of my most favourite images on it. 💕
My first DSLR camera, The Canon 7d arrived 5 years later, followed by one of their mirrorless systems in 2021 ( a treat for myself from my NHS pension payout - Well earned & we'll deserved! 😄) This is a semi pro Camera & I'm still to learn all that it's capable of but I love it and have so much fun learning. 💝

My interest in photography started many years ago. With only a handful of photos of myself as a child, I wanted to take as many of my children as I wanted, & I did 🥰 Back then cameras were 35mm film and still remember the excitement of getting your wallet of photos back from the developers hoping you'd got at least one decent one among them, but more often than not they were awful. How times changed for the better for photography with the digital age 💡😊
