We are excited to be working with Dauntsey Festival of Transport & Country Show again this August Bank Holiday Weekend (Saturday and Sunday). Once again I will be the cars and bikes section leader. Already we have some amazing and unusual vehicles joining us, but do you own or know someone that does a vehcile that deserves to be shown off!

In partnership with Escape the Village we are doing the Sleep Out for Tommy again this year! In aid of our homeless veterans, helping provide safe homes, mental health support, and a pathway back to independence for those who once served our country.

One night in the cold highlights the harsh reality that thousands of veterans endure. Our challenge sparks conversations, and alongside our fundraising, it drives real change.

We will be sleeping out at the stables and no doubt up to some of our mad antics again with the ponies, chickens and the arena, plus of course mud, flooded fields and wildlife!

Four-legged guests were very much part of the Royal Artillery Hunt Boxing Day Meet, Chitterne 🐾🎄
From well-behaved seasoned companions to some utterly adorable puppies, the dogs visiting the meet with their owners brought plenty of smiles and festive cheer.

Full of character, curiosity and wagging tails, they were a joy to photograph and a lovely reminder that Boxing Day meets are as much about community and togetherness as they are about tradition.

Did you know that Izzy is not only the show secretary for the Dauntsey Festival of Transport but she is also the car and bike section leader? Do you know of any interesting cars, classic, vintage or film cars that should come to the show? Its free for exhibitors and promises to be better than ever in 2026 with new features and exciting new experiences across the showground!

Meet the Team: Izzy Graney – Cars and Bikes Section Leader

We’re pleased to reintroduce Izzy Graney, who not only serves as our Show Secretary but is also our Cars and Bikes Section Leader for 2026. Izzy is one of our youngest committee members at just 18, yet she already brings years of experience to the team. Alongside her time with our show, she has been involved in both equine events, car racing and car shows, giving her a strong understanding of the behind the scenes of a show

She first joined us as a volunteer and quickly made an impact, stepping up to lead the cars and bikes section for this year’s show. Beyond her committee role, Izzy is an award-winning automotive and motorsports photographer, well known for her ability to capture everything from track action to classic vehicles with creativity and precision.

Although an accident just before this year’s event meant she was on crutches and couldn’t attend as much as she had hoped, her enthusiasm hasn’t faded. She is already gearing up for 2026 and plans to contact:
- Car clubs
- Bike clubs
- Private owners
…to grow the section even further. And yes, she has a wish list of makes and models she’d love to see at next year’s show!
