Charlton Place in Andover was built in the late 1980s by Lloyds Bank. The multi-storey office base with 17 acres of land was used for training and conference meetings.

Due to banks closing and no need for the large site, the centre was closed in 2021 and sold for residential redevelopment.

Portland Cave Explore 🚫⚠️

This is one of the caves I explored while down in Portland. This is located on the cliffs edge next to the prison. It has a track at the caves entrance, which you can see in the photos that it leads all the way into the cave with the end of the track stopping at a shear drop. You cannot stand in the cave so you'd either have to crawl or crouch down. Anyone going to visit would need to take a torch and the correct equipment. Many of the caves on the island are inaccessible but those that do have access are not in great locations, with many pathways on the cliffs edge leading to the caves have crumbled away or are closed off.

No history on the building but thought the art work was pretty cool 😎
