Such a beautiful colour palette thanks to mother nature - deep shades of rose and purple are so appealing to the eye.

This image is peculiar not only in its colour scheme, but an experienced eye may also spot 3 distinct circular layers of composition - one being the table itself, another one - this gorgeous cabbage, and the last one is in the same plane as the cabbage but is much wider - hugging the legs of the table and the tabletop & the cabbage.

Gathers is the main theme of this image. Gathers on the vase gathers on the apple, gathers on the flower. Vibrant and lively yellow is well contrasted against a pale dark yellow of the apple, both in colour and texture.

YEARBOOK is Shutter Hub’s annual directory of photographers.

Shutter Hub is a photography organisation providing opportunities and support for creative photographers worldwide.

Through their exhibitions, website and in-person and online meetups and workshops they enable photographers to promote their work, access curated opportunities and make new connections within the photographic community.

This year their showcase (running online on Shutter Hub's website from 21 July 2022 to 31 October 2022) showcases work from over 300 photographers from across the world. And I am proud to have one of my recent artworks included in their exhibition too.
