Dreamy atmospheric bridal portraits - A wedding morning with Emilie at The Retreat Hotel, Elcot Park. It was a morning that was so beautifully relaxed and fun. Every detail was incredible!

A few thoughts from this morning -

How stunning are these sleeves?! The button details are just gorgeous. And later on Emilie swapped the sleeves for a stunning scarf with lace detail. Love an add on/change for a bride!

A bridal bouquet full of peonies?! Yes please, how incredible they flowers were from

And, I love a veil in the right light 😍

Before the ceremony, before the nerves kick in and before everyone takes their place - Just take ten minutes with your best friends, figuring out the buttonholes (with varying levels of success) and soaking it all in together.

Some of my favourite moments from a wedding day are these ones. The Retreat at Elcot Park really did provide a stunning background in every way. The rooms and ground are gorgeous!

The morning of Daisy’s wedding day 🌼

Daisy spent her morning getting ready at her childhood home in London with her best friends, mom, dad and Queenie (the cutest little dogo). It was so wholesome capturing these few hours or everyone.

The chats we had while Hair + Makeup was being done and the buzz of energy in the last 10 minutes when everyone is running around getting their final bits and pieces together. I adore these moments and capturing the getting ready prep on the day of a wedding. From a photographic perspective, I think it really adds to the ark of your story in your final gallery. It's all the pre-wedding energy!! I just love it 😍

Also, I think the photo of Daisy standing at the front door with a glass of champagne in her Wedding dress is iconic 🥂👌🏻

This is personal and scary to post... It is Cleft Awareness Week, and I wanted to talk about something personal because it connects so deeply to the way I photograph people and tell wedding stories.

I know how it feels to be insecure in photos. And maybe this will help someone else feel a little less alone in that.

I was born with a cleft lip and tongue tie, and I’ve had three operations throughout my life. It’s something that affected my confidence for years, and honestly still can sometimes.

Which is why I care so deeply about how my couples feel in front of the camera.

As a documentary wedding photographer, I capture your day honestly — the emotion, the movement, the real moments as they happen. And while you might not love every single photo of yourself immediately, I promise that over time, those photographs become so much bigger than the insecurities you once noticed.

When I look back at old photos now, I don’t think about the things I used to criticise about myself. I think about the memories. The people. The feeling of that moment.

That’s what wedding photographs are really for.

And if any of my couples ever have insecurities they’re worried about, please know you can always talk to me about them. I want you to feel safe, comfortable, and truly seen while I tell your story.

Sunshine, Beyoncé, confetti flying through the air, and an entrance that brought ALL the energy

The moment that Pippa + Bill walked into their wedding celebration at Loft Studios London, the entire atmosphere changed. The music was loud, the sun was blazing, everyone was cheering — and it felt like pure joy from start to finish.

Straight from their confetti aisle to their cake cutting. And instead of a traditional cake? Tiramisu, ooooh yeaaah 😍

These are the moments I love most to photograph — the real energy, movement, emotion, and chaos that make a wedding day feel completely unforgettable.
