Borough Market, London Bridge - After Hours ✨️

How epic and perfect it felt to wander the lanes at borough market? Feeling meant to be for Alice and Danny. After an incredibly big day, after we got off the big red bus, we took another 10 minutes away from the crowds and guests so they could just be together. A chance to reset and ground yourself before evening celebrations. (And it was just gorgeousssss!)

I always recommend to my couples that couples portraits or taking 10 minutes to wander away is a good thing. It gives you chance to be together without interruptions, a moment to chat and catch up about your days, it also gives you time to reflect. Thinking - 'f*** yeaaaaah' we did this, we got all our favourite people together for today, we planned every detail and timing - and look how perfect its been.

Safe to say, we wandered over to the reception being able to walk in there ready to party into the night.

I look forward to sharing more from this day - a truly beautiful one 🧡

“We aren’t great at posing for photos but want nice photos of the day.”

This was one of the first things Gabs and Curt said to me in their enquiry, so that's exactly what we did.

You don't need to spend hours posing for the perfect photo. If you have a vision or an idea tell me and we can work some magic! Otherwise, I work to your energy.

For Gabs and Curt, we wandered off for about 10 minutes, just the two of them and me, with no distractions from their guests. I gave them barely any direction. I think I said “walk this way…” asked them a question or two, and then left them to it.

And they created the magic.

The rest of the afternoon and evening was spent capturing them having the best time with their guests, which brings me to my biggest tip if you want natural photos of the two of you throughout your wedding day: you actually have to be together!

The more you two are together, the more of your story I get to capture.

Of course, I'll always make time for some beautiful portraits of you both, but I don't want to take you away from your wedding for hours. I want you to actually enjoy your day, while I photograph all the little moments that make it yours.

Storytelling, joyful and documentary wedding photography for relaxed couples who want to have a bloody good time.

Earlier this week, I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Paige and Dan’s incredibly intimate DIY wedding in the Herefordshire countryside.

Paige and Dan created their day completely their way, with their closest family around them. They spent the last 12 months collecting nearly 80 empty glass bottles, which they then individually filled with flowers for the tables. They made their own bunting together. They got ready together in the morning, before retreating to separate rooms to surprise each other with their wedding outfits.

And my gadddd, it was stunning.

They chose the Journeyman Tree House Cabin at Brook House Farm, which was so gorgeously rustic and private. Privacy was really important to them, and it gave the whole day this feeling of being completely tucked away from the rest of the world.

Jennie, their celebrant, created the most personal and bespoke ceremony, telling their story and bringing so much of their journey into the room. There were definitely some emotional moments! Their guests blessed the pennies, there was a handfasting, and it all felt so incredibly personal to Paige and Dan.

This was a truly beautiful DIY family effort, and it was so lovely watching a plan and a dream wedding come together exactly as Paige and Dan had imagined it.

I loved every second of this Tuesday afternoon spent in the Herefordshire countryside. Spending time with Paige and Dan in the woodland was a particular highlight, but honestly, the entire day was such a privilege to photograph.

When you’re having a wedding with just six guests, choosing your suppliers is such a personal decision. You’re inviting someone into a really small and special bubble — and I’m incredibly grateful that I got to be the one to capture theirs.

Paige and Dan, thank you for letting me be part of it. 💛

Bringing you some Brighton love - Indy + Lucas had an incredible sunny day at Brighton Town Hall and then wandering the lanes afterwards. We actually spent an hour wandering around and it was so lovely. After the ceremony, Indy and Lucas went for ice cream where they caught up on each others mornings before the wedding, we drifted our way through the crowds and took some photos in meaningful places and some where it looked fun.
Their entrance into Fabrica was electric - its such a cool venue to make your own. I loved how atmospheric it looked during the day and at night.

I loved that the entire day revolved around Indy and Lucas - they did what they wanted on their own time. Nothing felt rushed or forced. Just them being their authentic selves and that's what weddings are all about right?!

Big love for Brighton - are you planning a wedding there? I'd love to capture it for you ☀️

This one is for the couples who get it. Your wedding photographer matters more than you think.

Let's make something last longer than a day. Let's give you a family heirloom that will be apart of generations to come.

Your wedding photos will outlive the cake, music, drinks or decorations you have. Finding someone who captures the big, small, inbetween and of course, the main moments - matters.

I shoot documentary + story led - meaning your wedding gallery isn't just images of the best bits, but the complete ark of your story.

If your getting married in 2027 - Let's start talking about your day and how we can capture it perfectly ☀️

We can always find time to take photos. At Samantha's and James' wedding we had originally planned to wander the grounds at Delamere Manor - as they are just exquisite! Then we would join the rest of the wedding party ready for their entrance for dinner. However, Samantha saw the bar and asked if there was time - guest were still getting themselves together, so we had time. We spent 5 minutes getting some very cool, editorial and relaxed portraits of the two of them. I love the contrast of the inside vs. the outside portraits 😍

This is your sign to do both - we can always find time to get the shot you want.

Whether you had a vision when visiting your wedding venue for photos or want a few natural shots on the day - remember that the time we plan for your portraits is for you... time together away from the wedding party. 10 minutes (longer if you wish) to look back what you've organised and created - the guests you've bought together, the details, the playlists and every other thought that went into your planning. Take the moment to take it all in together as a newly married couple. Because your day will fly by with emotion and excitement and sometimes you need to plan the moments together so you can be, together.
