Wedding Photography Industry Statistics and Report 2020

This is a good read, it just shows that editing your photos is what we spend the majority of our time on.

A lot of people think we turn up and just push a button, they don’t realise how many hours of training we do, how much money we spend on adverts, wedding shows, camera equipment. And then the hours upon hours of editing.

Anyone who has seen the last 3 images on my page, each one of the pictures actually took me 6 hours to edit each, I was at the shoot for an hour each.

But this is something I also enjoy doing. 😍

Newborn Photographer of the year 2020 - Camera Crazy

I really enjoy entering competitions and going to all the photography conventions, for a couple of reasons carrying out training and meeting people within the industry. In January of 2020 I decided to go to the Societies of Wedding and Portrait Photographers and enter into their 20x16 print competition. So yesterday Jonny Jr decided he wanted to eat his rope toy, so a trip to the vet, several ££££ later he is now back at home and sleeping the operation off! All I can say is lucky we have pet insurance.

He is fine and eating again, little bit grouchy but who wants someone removing 1 meter of rope from your stomach 🤷🏻‍♀️

Note to self no more dog toys with rope attached when you have a greedy dog! 😁👍🏼

For the last two days I have been at the Societies of Weddings and Portrait Photographers convention 2020.

I entered their print competition and I was really excited to see that both of my images I had entered got a merit and one of them was in the final.

To my surprise I came 3rd place with my newborn image which is amazing. It was such a privilege to have an image up next to the amazing Kelly Brown - Little Pieces Photography.

I would like to thank all the ladies who I was with for their support and cheering me on and everyone I have ever trained with or have been mentored by 😘

I really enjoy shooting the groom prep.

when I turned up these guys were all nervous, no one knew how to tie a cravat, so I jumped into action got YouTube up and we all learned how to tie the cravat.

I would now say I’m an expert 😝
