Ancient methods are used to produce the tastiest of dry roasted Chickpeas, it is down to the Mati (Clay / Sand) that is used in the manufacturing process, the Matti (Black Sand / Clay) used contains 5 Main Ayurvedic elements (Ether, Air, Fire, Water and Earth) that the human body consists of, the manufacturing process involves a very high heat of 200 degrees and in that process the natural elements are transferred into the Chickpeas.
The "World Famous" and delicious Kara Dry Roasted Chana (Chickpeas) are ubiquitous in the Indian Sub-Continent and can be found being sold on every street corner by street food vendors, hawkers and shops alike.......you could say that they are a little taste of India in every bite.
