Your baby isn’t only cute in the Newborn stage, your baby is cute throughout its growth journey.
Sometimes I see mums rushing to book a newborn shoot after their baby arrives to get cute photos before their baby gets “too big”
I have even seen some photographers refuse to photograph babies over 2 weeks old, because they’re “too old.” I could never imagine turning away a client because their baby is “too big” or “too old.”
Life happens. Sometimes your birth doesn’t always go to plan and you need time to physically recover, or you simply get caught up soaking in the newborn bubble and adjusting to parenthood. There’s nothing wrong with that.
Sure they grow out of the squishy newborn phase and it doesn’t last very long, but their cuteness? Oh how does that level up 😍
Those “wind smiles” turn into real authentic smiles. Your baby is able to laugh.
The sleepy snuggles turn into awake cuddles. Your baby’s senses and curiosity are heightened which make
photoshoots a whole lot more fun.
The tiny “scrunch” turns into a personality and they’re able to express themselves.
They start recognising you and their family members, Reaching for you. Showing you who they are, not just how small they can be.
So yes, newborns are adorable but watching your baby become themselves?
That kind of cute hits differently and it’s never too late to have beautiful photos of your baby in all phases of their growth.
