I treated myself to the from The Wellness Shop in Sligo town.
It's fabulous! You get a nourish bowl, a slice of bread, and a slice of cake. The staff are well versed on gluten-free and vegan options too.

I was lucky that I could grab and go, as they had a limited supply available, but pre-ordering is advisable.

The Wild Atlantic Shanty Festival returns from the 19th – 21st June for three unforgettable days of sea shanties, live music, maritime heritage and family fun.

From lively performances across local venues to arts and crafts, historical talks, the colourful Pirate Parade and the traditional Blessing of the Boats, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.

Come along and experience the unique atmosphere, community spirit and coastal traditions that make this festival a highlight of the summer calendar.

If you have an interest in tourism, digital marketing and storytelling, you are very welcome to join the The Food Hub DOT.Rural event in The Building Block, Sligo on Friday, June 12th from 11am - 1pm.

No need to register, just come along.

Come and join us on Friday June 12th at 11am in The Building Block, Sligo, for the DOT.Rural co-design workshop. The workshop will focus on Digital Marketing and Storytelling. Through this event, we want to hear the opinion of experts in tourism or businesses in the industry about this topic and how they feel our work on the subject can be improved. We hope this module - part of the curriculum we're developing for D.O.T. Rural will help educate DMOs on digital ways to improve their services.

Your opinion will be valuable towards improving our training. We hope you can join us on the day. Refreshments and nibbles will be served on the day.
