I've always loved photographing movement, emotion and personality.

Justina simply gave herself to the moment. She moved freely, embraced the light, and trusted the process.

That's when my favourite photographs happen. Not when everything is perfectly posed, but when someone's personality naturally finds its way into every frame.

Sundays like this are good for the soul.

Today I joined a photo walk with the lovely people from Moments in Motion. A chance to slow down, see things differently, and give my creativity a little room to breathe.

These are just a few highlights from what I created today. I can't wait to edit them properly and share the final images with you soon.

Introducing a new series: What Nobody Tells You About Photography.

You hired a photographer, paid for the session and received the images.

But that does not automatically mean you purchased the copyright.

In most cases, the client receives a licence to use the images according to what was agreed in the contract — for social media, a website, brand promotion or personal use.

Using those photographs to create new images, videos, avatars or animations with artificial intelligence is a different form of use.

AI is not starting from nothing. It is using an image that was conceptualised, directed, lit, photographed and edited by another creative professional.

So, before uploading a professional photograph to an AI platform, check your contract and speak to the photographer who created the image.

Paying for a photoshoot, receiving a licence to use the images and purchasing the copyright are three different things.

A contract is not simply a formality. It exists to protect everyone involved.

The right clients can't book what they can't see.
