I used to hide behind the camera.

Not because I had nothing to say,
but because I did not feel ready to be seen.

Over the years, I changed.
My body changed.
My voice changed.
My standards changed.
And my image had to change with me.

Because image is not just a photograph.

It is identity.
Presence.
Alignment.

I did not ask for attention.
I aligned my image with my identity.

And if you are becoming a woman who is ready to be seen —
I understand you.

Because in many ways, I am you.

Oieee June, June started… and I don’t know about you, but there is something about a new month that makes me stop and look at things differently.

Especially when we are entering the sixth month of the year.

And maybe you can feel this too:
you are not the same woman you were when this year started.

You have changed.
You have made decisions.
You have grown quietly.
You have started wanting different things for yourself.

But here is the question I want to leave with you today:

When people see your image, are they seeing who you are now?

Or are they still meeting a version of you that you have already outgrown?

And I say this with so much care, because I know how easy it is to keep waiting.

Waiting to feel more ready.
Waiting to feel more confident.
Waiting for the “perfect” moment to finally show up as the woman you are becoming.

But your image doesn’t need to be perfect.
It needs to be honest.
Intentional.
Aligned.

Because before people hear your story, they feel your presence.

So maybe today is not about asking, “Do I need new photos?”

Maybe it is about asking:

Does my image still represent the woman I am becoming?

Finally sharing a little bit about last Sunday. I taught a sold-out photography workshop.

Teaching in my second language, to women from different nationalities, was a beautiful reminder that God is good. He gives us confidence, courage and grace to live the purpose He placed in our hearts.

Thank you, Storytellhers , for trusting me with this group of women and for creating a space where we can grow through love, not competition.

Because success never happens alone.
It is built through community, generosity, trust and purpose.

My heart is full. 🤍

Yesterday, I lived my why.

Not just by teaching photography, but by sharing what sits beneath the image: identity, intention, presence.

During my workshop, I reminded my students of something I deeply believe:

Your creativity does not begin by looking left or right.
It begins by looking within.

Do not limit your work just to fit in.
Do not shrink your vision to be understood.
Do not create from comparison.

Create from who you are.

My love for photography has never been only about beautiful images. It is about creating with meaning. With identity. With intention. With truth.

You are your own source of creativity.

Keep going.
Even when no one is clapping.
Even when people are watching in silence.
Even when the approval never comes.

Do it for yourself.

Because the only approval you truly need is your own.
