The Coalition Of Photographers, UK

As many of you are members of one of the associations I'm sure you have heard of them and trade joining together to try to have one voice. Coalition of Photographers main aim is for parity.

"Please read and help support the Coalition of Photographers whom are trying to support you.
The sole objective of the women and men who volunteered to set up this group was to mobilise as many photographers from all parts of society as possible to write to their MP's & Government highlighting the plight of photographers and videographers in the UK.
We are now focusing on the objective to get every professional photographer to send letters to government to arrive on 12th October. So please can you download from the website below the letter we have prepared for you to send in the mail. You will find addresses of the government departments and how to find your local MP on the website also".
https://www.coalitionofphotographers.co.uk

As you will see if you go to the facebook group or website it's important for the letter to be sent in the post and not just emailed.

Only $10 for your first month - Join Today!

Many thanks to everyone who attended last night’s London Portrait Groups Zoom meeting with Steve Saporito. It was without question the highlight of the year for the LPG! We had 68 photographers attend the meeting raising very nearly £700 for The Disabled Photographers Charity we support.

A huge thank you must also be said to Steve Saporito who was up at 5am in Australia specially for us and gave such an insipring talk, so much so we over ran by nearly an hour and were still going at almost 11pm!

For those who missed the talk or would like a video copy, we have a recording. Steve kindly suggested we ask a £5 donation for this if you attended the meeting or £15 if you didn’t, this will go directly to the charity.
The bank details are the same as before (or message me if you don't have them)

Contact us once you’ve made your donation and we’ll send you a link to the video, it's very nearly three hours long!
We also respectfully ask for you to keep the video to yourself as we are trying to raise extra funds for charity. Jeremy and all at Graphi Studio are at their offices if you have any questions on the products spoken about last night.

Lastly you'll recall Steve mentioned his business online workshop group. He has an offer for the LPG, you can learn about it here: https://stevesaporitoeducation.net/1587831449662

Next month’s meeting is a print critique. More details will be following in the next week or two.

Best wishes, your committee:
Ivan, Janice, Pani & Hoss

Further to last night's fabulous talk by Steve Saporito, here is a good example of The Graphistudio Steve Saporito Collection. A four piece set demonstrating how you can sell four pieces not just one family photo.
Most would sell just the family but this 4 piece set shows how you can sell four.

Hi could someone remind me how/where to send an image for the print critique in February, please - and how to join it?
Paul Kaye Award It was a great honour to be presented (jointly with Jeremy Price) the Paul Kaye Award by Su Kaye and The London Portrait Group this week. While I did not have the pleasure of ever meeting Paul, his daughter Su is a fantastic leader within our industry. As they say, "the apple doesn't fall far from the tree". Paul worked alongside his business partner, Mike Freedman; Paul did all the photography, and Mike handled the selling. By combining their skills of the "Art of Photography" and "Business of Photography", they achieved great success. Together, they came up with the idea of the "K Club" where you could only be a member if you had a sale over £1,000 (£1K hence the name). Over time, members of the K Club achieved new heights, and they had to move the target to sales of £1,500 plus. Some of you might say "£1000?!". Remember this was many decades ago when £1000 was probably the equivalent of £10,000 today! They also published the very successful "Photographer's Bulletin" which was distributed for many years around the world. Paul and Mike's belief in the importance of combining the "Business of Photography" with the "Art of Photography" puts them well before their time. This belief is what inspires me today to help as many Photographers master the business of photography. Photographers who master both the "art" and the "business" of photography amplify the creation of a healthier society through photography. Thank you, Paul, for being the inspiration you still are today. Thank you, Su, for being the leader you are. Thank you, London Portrait Group, for this very prestigious award.💜💜💜 Thank you to all professional photographers out there who work tirelessly to create a healthier society through photography💜💜💜. Many congratulations to Jeremy on being jointly awarded the 'Paul Kaye Award'. It truly is a wonderful honour.
Hope it's OK to post this here but I thought it may be of interest to other photographers in the group. Some of you may already be registering with but Ronan & Jonathon's marketing group The Business Success Academy is seriously worth a look. Below is a link to some useful tools that we signed up with during lock down. Take a look and see what will work for your business. Funnels will be the way forward in 2021 and I'm sure you will hear a lot about them.
Huge thank you to everyone that attended tonight on Zoom. Was great to be so welcomed and be able to share a snippet of what is possible for our amazing industry. As promised here is the link that will give you access to my membership for only $10USD for the first month (usually $99).
Ask most of the UK photographers who have trained with Steve Saporitoe Saporito and they will tell you he has changed the way they think. Its never easy to make a fundemental change in your business philosohpy and there are never any quick fixes it always take time. Steve's first UK workshop was a year ago and already we have seen not just significant increases in the average sales of many, but a change in their lives too. This talk will just scratch the surface but if you are open minded to change, keen to turn the average customer in to a great customer then spend a few hours with Steve to get a glimpse of how he can help. Looking forward to being a par of this one too.
hi there, just sent a message to you with proof of payment, please can you put me on the list for the 7th july
