Happy 19th Anniversary to Shan Fisher Photography 🥰📷🥂
19 years ago, I took a leap of faith. I left my well-paid job and followed my dream of becoming a photographer.
I worked in restaurants on weekends and volunteered to photograph friends and local businesses.
At that time, all I had was my camera, a dream in my heart, and a future full of unknowns.
From a little girl’s dream of becoming an artist, this journey has been more incredible than I ever imagined.
Along the way, I have become an award-winning photographer, entrepreneur, international speaker, coach, mentor, and mother to two amazing boys.
I’ve had the privilege of meeting incredible people who have become dear friends.
And it has been an honour to capture many people’s love stories, milestones, and precious moments, preserving memories through my lens and from the heart.
I’m also proud of myself for continuing to show up following my recent breast cancer diagnosis.
Life hasn’t always been easy, but my passion for what I do remains stronger than ever.
I am grateful for every person who has supported me on this journey. You have all played a part in making this dream possible. ❤️
And if you’re reading this and have a dream in your heart, go for it.
Don’t let anyone tell you that you’re too old, too young, too busy, or that your circumstances aren’t right.
Life will always bring challenges, and those challenges can shape you, strengthen you, and help you become the person you are meant to be.
